Item Description:
Up for sale is a superb lot of two (2) authentic, original vintage black-and-white military snapshots from Bulgaria, dating to the post-WWII or early Cold War era (late 1940s to 1950s). This set provides an exceptional, clear look at Soviet-supplied armored vehicles in service with the Bulgarian People's Army (БНА), featuring a T-34 tank and an SU-76 self-propelled gun.
Photo Details:
• Photo 1 (SU-76M Assault Gun): A striking, close-up frontal view of a Soviet SU-76M self-propelled assault gun parked outside a military barracks building. A crew member in a padded tank helmet is leaning out from the open compartment next to the 76mm gun barrel. Features a classic deckle edge.
• Photo 2 (T-34/85 Tank Column): An excellent field training shot showing a column of iconic Soviet T-34/85 medium tanks advancing across a grassy meadow. A crewman is leaning forward out of the front hull driver's hatch of the lead tank. Other soldiers stand nearby on the left. Features a classic deckle edge.
Back Details:
The reverse sides of both photographs are completely blank with a clean, unwritten matte texture showing minor natural aging and silvering lines along the margins.
Condition:
Both snapshots are original vintage prints in very good condition with deep contrast and sharp subject focus. They show minimal age wear along the classic deckle borders and have no folds, pinholes, or heavy creases. Please view the high-resolution images closely to evaluate specific details.
An outstanding addition for collectors specializing in Soviet armor, Cold War Balkan militaria, Bulgarian tank units, or Warsaw Pact armored vehicle history.
