The issue contains an excellent mixture of ghosts, monsters, supernatural horror and science-fiction typical of ACG’s pre-Code period.
CONDITION:
Low-grade original copy that remains attached and presents nicely for its age.
Front cover retains excellent eye appeal with strong red, yellow and black colors and a fantastic Ken Bald skeleton bride image.
Visible condition issues include significant spine wear and stress, edge and corner wear, creasing, small tears, surface wear, age-related discoloration and general handling wear. There is also writing/marking visible on the upper-right area of the front cover.
Back cover is present with age-related tanning, edge wear and general handling wear.
Interior pages remain attached and presentable with good color. Pages exhibit expected tanning and age-related wear consistent with a comic published in 1954.
A very displayable affordable example of Golden Age pre-Code horror with an especially desirable skeleton bride cover.
