“Werewolves of the Rockies” follows Lars Norden and Fria after an avalanche strands them near an isolated ski village, where the inhabitants harbor a terrifying supernatural secret.

CONDITION:

Low-grade original copy that remains attached and presents nicely for its age.

Front cover retains excellent eye appeal with strong orange, green and black colors and a striking Ken Bald werewolf image.

Visible condition issues include substantial spine wear and stress, creasing, edge and corner wear, surface wear, age-related discoloration and tanning, and a noticeable piece missing from the right edge of the front cover near the speech balloon.

Back cover is present and shows age-related wear, tanning, edge wear, small tears and general handling wear.

Interior pages remain attached and presentable with strong artwork and colors. Pages exhibit expected tanning and age-related wear consistent with a comic published in 1953.

A very displayable affordable example of Golden Age ACG pre-Code horror with an excellent Ken Bald werewolf cover.
