Original Edo-period Japanese woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III), dating to circa 1864–1865. A beautifully colored scene of courtly women and a noble figure in a garden pavilion, with cherry blossoms, lake, and bridge.
Signed 「七十九歳 豊国筆」 (“Drawn by Toyokuni at 79 years old”) with the publisher’s seal 藤慶祥 (Fuji Keishō). This dates the work precisely to Kunisada’s late period (1864–65), shortly before the end of his career.
Three joined sheets with strong remaining color, visible wear, losses, toning, and old backing edges—consistent with Edo-period ukiyo-e prints that were displayed or mounted. Despite condition issues, the impression and figures remain clear and highly collectible.
