View Larger Image   Columbian Woodworking Vise Speed Jaws 7R   Description: This is a top quality vintage woodworking vise marked "COLUMBIAN CLEVELAND OHIO 7-R" on the cast steel sliding jaw face. This is the top of the line vise with the speed sliding jaw that allow the user to disengage the threaded rod via a split nut design on this vise, so the user can very quickly slide the vise jaws in or out to the required jaw opening very quickly! Another quality feature is the adjustable dog or tongue for use with bench dogs on your work bench. The jaws are 7" wide. This vise is also very heavy duty, all steel construction, not damaged or pitted, very clean. It appears that some of the original paint has worn off, but about 85% intact, some discoloration or stains on the paint, but not rusty.
