Rockford Socket Beveled Chisel 7/8 inch

Description:
This is a nice 19th century (late 1800's-early 1900's) heavy duty .87" wide socket bevel chisel marked "ROCKFORD BIT CO. KOKOMO INDIANA" on the steel. It is 12.3" long overall. It has been used but is in very good working order. It has no rust, no cracks, straight, not bent, flat on the bottom. We note there is a very small amount of very minor pitting in a few places. This is a top quality chisel, very good quality steel! The area around the cutting edge is very clean, and it is sharp and ready to use. The handle is in very good condition and appears to be ash or oak w/leather cap end, very solid, clean, fits good.
