View Larger Image   Disston Saw Set Pliers Triumph Patent 1899   Description: This is a nice clean late 1800's patented saw set pliers marked "DISSTON U.S.A. PAT. OCT. 1899" on the underside of one handle, and "TRIUMPH" on the other handle underside. This is a good quality tool in very good condition with very little wear. It appears to have been painted gray at one time, and about 40% of that paint is intact. No rust, clean, ready to use condition. It has a patented split slide (tooth setter), the top part being controlled by the top handle, the lower be the lower handle. The amount of set is adjustable, as is the gauge guide, all the adjustments are in working order. This one measures 7.2" long.
