Offered here is an original Daye & Baker Manufacturing Co. “Catalogue 52”, a wholesale sterling silver trade catalog issued circa 1901–1903 from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, measuring approximately 10.25 x 6.75 inches and containing 48 pages. The catalog is bound in its original blue cardstock covers, with a visible light vertical fold at center consistent with period handling and storage.

This catalog illustrates and prices a broad range of sterling silver goods, including souvenir spoons, fancy tea and coffee spoons, state spoons, belt pins and buckles, silver-mounted combs, baby sets and novelties, letter seals, enameled brooches, collar sets, mesh purses (German silver and sterling), fancy forks, and popular cased goods. Pages feature dense halftone illustrations with item numbers, pattern names, and wholesale pricing, making this an important reference for collectors, dealers, and researchers of American silver and jewelry.

The back cover printer’s imprint, “O. A. Hack & Son, Taunton, Mass.”, combined with the product mix, pricing structure, and typography, places this catalog firmly in the circa 1902 period. The emphasis on souvenir spoons, belt buckles, Japonisme novelties (including the Three Wise Monkeys), and dozen-based wholesale pricing reflects a peak North Attleboro silver trade moment just prior to mid-1900s stylistic shifts.

Condition is very good overall for a working trade catalog. Covers show edge wear, light surface spotting, and small losses at corners. Interior pages are complete, clean, and legible with expected age toning. Binding remains intact.

This catalog was produced for the jewelry trade rather than the general public and survives today as a scarce primary reference for early 20th-century American silver manufacturing.

Authentic period piece related to family, historyor local heritage - well-suited for historical collections, genealogical /genealogy research, or museum acquisition.Vintage or Antique.
