Red cover has gold-colored embossing. Overall wear commensurate with age. Some foxing. One page has a decent tear at the top. See photos.
As for the age, I see only horse-drawn vehicles and trolleys. The page with City Hall says it was "recently completed," and it was completed in 1901.
