c.1830 German Hand Painted Country Scene Glass Beaker. Rare 3-D Effect For Sale

Offered is this very unusual circa 1830 German painted country scene flint glass beaker standing 4in. tall and 2.75in. diameter. I have had this beaker in my collection over 30 years because I have never seen any other examples that have tried to incorporate a 3-D effect utilizing the thickness of the glass to make the painting stand out in front of the sky background which was accomplished by applying white enamel on the inside of the glass behind the painting on the outside of the glass giving the painting depth and painting will cast a shadow upon this background. Factory chip repair to rim and moderate gold wear having NO cracks or heat checks. Not cold painted but has fired enameling. Truely unique piece of early German folk art welcome in any collection or decor!
