Postcard - a real photo postcard showing a man standing next to his horse. His name and that of the photographer are at the bottom, but the words / letters are reversed - kind of like looking at a word or writing in a mirror. They read: C. W. Irvin (the person next the horse), and Frank Briton (who I assume is the photographer / publisher). On the back side is written C. W. Irvin, Wytheville, VA. A brief internet search indicates a C. W. Irvin lived in Wytheville and Wythe County, Virginia in the early part of the 20th Century. The AZO in the stamp box on the back side indicates the postcard dates to 1918 or earlier. Very good condition, red spot / smudge at upper left edge and lower edge, and some brownish marks at the top right area. Some brown and red spot / smudge on the back side also.SHIPPING $8.00 with Postal Tracking to addresses in the United States. I only ship to the buyer's address as listed by - no exceptions.
