One side of the jar is embossed (4/10) withMASON\'S PATENT NOV.30TH 1858. The mold number2isembossed on the base.Including the zinc cap, the jar isapproximately5 1/2\" tall. As expected with vintage jars, there are manufacturing flaws including closed bubbles and swirls in the glass. The sides are slightly indented.The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including expected ground lip roughness, base wear, and surface scratches.Please look at the photos carefully.
