Vintage Seiffener Volkskunst German Nutcracker Forester Hunter Rifle GDR 10\"This listing is for an authentic vintage hand-carved wooden nutcracker crafted by traditional artisans in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) region of East Germany. The figure represents a classic German Forester or Hunter (Jäger) in a traditional green uniform.

• Iconic Details: Features a painted hunter\'s hat with antler insignia, a wooden rifle slung over his shoulder, a smoking pipe tucked into his hat brim, and a soft faux-fur beard and hair.
• Historical Markings: The bottom base features a faded blue ink stamp reading: \"Made in German Democratic Republic\".
• Condition: Excellent working vintage condition showing very minimal shelf wear. The rear lever mechanism functions smoothly. The painted details on the eyes, mustache, and teeth remain exceptionally clean and crisp. The hair is full and intact.
