Vintage American-made decorative carousel horse from PJ’s Carousel Collection, model “INDIAN,” based on an early Dentzel-style carousel design. Hand-finished horse in tan/cream with white mane and tail, red, black and gold carousel trappings and saddle decoration. Mounted on a beveled wood display base with brass-tone spiral carousel pole and ring finial. Approximately 11” L × 4” W × 11¾” H overall (to top of ring).Original identification plaque reads “PJ’s Carousel Collection – Replica of Early DENTZEL STYLE – Made in Newbern, VA.” The wooden base is additionally stamped “INDIAN.”Attractive vintage condition with age-appropriate surface/paint wear.
