Liberty Airlines was a short-lived regional commuter airline operating in the early 1980s. Due to its very brief operational window between 1982 and 1983, original pilot uniform insignia and company memorabilia from this carrier are incredibly scarce. This piece is highly sought after by collectors specializing in defunct regional airlines, short-lived commuter operations, and vintage commercial aviation history.
The wings are in very good condition, but have some surface scratches. Please see photos for condition.
These wings came from NASA associate Director Daniel Nebrig’s estate and will Include a copy of the provenance card that the family and estate company made for these historic pieces. He owned the largest military medal, military pilot wings, military patches, and commercial pilot wings collection I have ever seen.
