Vintage Liberty London Silk Scarf-Art Deco Travel Themed-Cunard-34in Square For Sale

This is an amazing silk scarf by the iconic Liberty of London. Their silk scarves are wonderful and so collectible, either to wear or display. I absolutely love them and there are SO many prints out there to choose from (and I have another currently listed with a very different design/color scheme). This one is quite unusual as it has an Art Deco travel design featuring Cunard's luxury ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth 2 (the QE 2). Liberty opened a shop on board the ship in 1988 and from what I can gather, a scarf was designed reimagining famed Liberty designer Bernard Nevill's "Vacances" (also called "Cunard") from 1968. (Last picture, as seen in The History of Liberty book). I can only assume that this scarf is one that was specially designed. It's fabulous, with all the different travel scenes. The colors are gorgeous, too, but I would say that they are slightly darker and more muted/dusky than my pictures seem to show. The rolled seams are hand-stitched. So glamourous!⫸MEASUREMENTS⫷
This measures approximately 34 inches square, so a LARGE sized scarf.
Items that are considered "antique" are over 100 years old; items considered "vintage" are over 20 years old. All will rarely be perfect as these jewelry pieces have been worn & loved and will show evidence of that.
