VERY RARE Vintage Ramada Inn Figural Advertising Candle Pair – Buck/Deer & Miner/Prospector...
The prospector is especially detailed, with a broad-brimmed hat, long beard, rustic log-style base and a small moldedhandled jug/crock beside his foot.RAMADA INNis molded directly into the front of the rustic base. The buck/deer also carries theRAMADA INNname on its base.
Both figures retain their original wicks andappear unused/unburned, with the intact wicks clearly shown in the photographs.
These unusual pieces are believed to date to the1950s/early Ramada Inn era. Extensive research has not located another identical pair or an exact example of either Ramada Inn figure. Because the exact production year and manufacturer have not been documented, the 1950s dating is based on the style, characteristics and available historical information rather than a confirmed manufacturer record.
An exceptionally unusual display pair for collectors ofRamada Inn memorabilia, vintage hotel and motel advertising, roadside Americana, Western Americana, Mid-Century travel memorabilia, or vintage figural candles.
Condition:Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, wax discoloration/color variation and minor imperfections visible in the photographs. Both wicks appear unused/unburned. These pieces have not been cleaned, repaired or restored.
