Up for sale is an original vintage Topping Models USAF Chance Vought Aircraft F8U-1 jet airplane contractor promo desktop display model dating from the mid 1950's. This was made as a reference model for the engineers working on this project. High quality model. Made of a thick plastic or resin material. The model is in nice condition for its age and has an old repair. Has a crack near where the model attached to the base and has been reglued. Small nick on the back tail wing and front edge as seen in the photos. No other cracks or repairs, no other chips and the color is nice. Some wear to the original decals. Base is in nice shape. I have not tried to clean. Displays well. Measures approx. 13 1/4" long by 7 1/2" at the tallest point when sitting on the stand. Being sold as found and seen in the photos. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item. Rare item and is a must for any collector. I will combine shipping on multiple wins.
