The N.S. Meyer Company of New York City was one of America's foremost insignia makers until it folded over 20 years ago. In addition to the U.S. government, N.S. Meyer contracted with many foreign governments within the Western Hemisphere for their insignia needs. These items are NEW old stock cleared from the factory when it was liquidated. All are over 60 years old, still on their maker cards, and are UNUSED. They are as bright and pretty as the day they were made! These were difficult to photograph as they are still very shiny with their heavy plating.
Old timers may remember Trujillo's traffic controllers working in Ciudad Trujillo (Santo Domingo). They were dressed in white, and this "T" shaped badge was worn on their white pith helmets. The letter "A" signifies Company A which worked in the capital. Also included is a pair of the white devices worn on the shirt collars. They have beautiful hard-fired enamels and are gold plated. You will receive the COMPLETE SET as shown above.
