The N.S. Meyer Company of New York City was one of America's foremost insignia makers until it folded over 20 years ago. In addition to the U.S. government, N.S. Meyer contracted with many foreign governments within the Western Hemisphere for their insignia needs. These items are NEW old stock cleared from the factory when it was liquidated. All are over 60 years old, still on their maker cards, and are UNUSED. They are as bright and pretty as the day they were made! These were difficult to photograph as they are still very shiny with their heavy plating.
These beautiful insignias are just under 1 1/2" tall. They are gold plated and feature hard-fired enamels and great detail. These large ones were worn by Navy Admirals and are RARE. You will receive ONE PAIR of these as shown. I have also listed the smaller 1" styles for use by Navy Officers other than the Admirals.
