Fossil-rich crinoid plate from the Bangor Limestone of Alabama featuring three crinoid calyxes!This is a very interesting natural fossil plate containing three visible crinoid calyxes, representing Cymbiocrinus sp. and Fifeocrinus sp. The surrounding limestone matrix is packed with additional fossil material, including numerous crinoid stem fragments and other small marine fossils.Several of the stem fragments have excellent detail and unusual preservation. There is also what appears to be a shell/brachiopod imprint or fossil preserved in the matrix, along with many other small fossil pieces visible throughout the slab.The specimen has fossils visible on multiple surfaces, making it an excellent piece for display and a great example of the diverse marine fossil assemblage found in the Bangor Limestone.Specimen Details:* Fossils: Cymbiocrinus sp. and Fifeocrinus sp. crinoid calyxes
