Rare years: These can be solidly placed with the 1931-1933 era; check pictures of catalogues; they have a tapered upper portion of clip and round ball lower portion. Both are of the autograph lineSolid gold: Both pencils have solid 14K tips, clips, and bands. Both bands are oversized.Pen differences: One pencil is oversized, it has a signature “D. Platson”Celluloid: Both are in green pearl; this was a premium color option. Celluloid seems to be in good/great condition overall; can’t find any cracks. A very small imperfection (not a structural issue or crack) can be seen in the smaller pencil Mechanisms: Both pencils turning mechanisms work and are smooth
