Vintage Plumb Jet Wing double-bit axe featuring the distinctive phantom bevel design, original factory-installed red wooden handle, and Plumb Permabond mounting system.
The axe head has been cleaned, highlighting the unique sculpted phantom bevels while retaining some original patina. The PLUMB trademark and 35 weight designation are clearly stamped into the steel.
The original red-painted wooden handle remains in good, solid condition with much of its original finish intact. The factory Permabond material is clearly visible in the eye, supporting the originality of the handle and mounting. The cutting edges are beautiful. See photos

CONDITION
Good vintage condition. The steel head has been cleaned and displays some remaining surface pitting, patina, and signs of age. Both cutting edges appear well preserved.
The original red-painted wooden handle is in good, solid condition with normal surface scratches, finish wear, and handling marks. The original Permabond material remains visible in the eye.
