Vintage USA-made Plumb 35 double-bit axe featuring the distinctive boxed PLUMB trademark with the number 35 stamped directly above it. This is a less commonly encountered marking, making it an appealing example for collectors of vintage American axes.
Features a large 10 1/4-inch double-bit head with two 4 3/4-inch cutting edges and a classic Michigan-style profile. The head retains its clearly legible factory markings and has not been heavily ground down.
Mounted on a 32-inch Seymour Genuine Hickory handle, made in the USA, with portions of the original factory labels still attached.
The axe head is estimated to date from the early to mid-20th century, approximately the 1920s–1950s. A substantial example of American tool manufacturing with an uncommon Plumb 35 marking.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition with natural surface oxidation, patina, discoloration, scratches, and general age-related wear. Both cutting edges retain substantial material with no obvious major chips or significant damage. The hickory handle shows normal handling marks and wear, with remnants of the original Seymour labels. The eye has visible metal wedges and additional material associated with the handle installation.
