An incredibly rare piece of cocktail history: an original 1927 postcard showing the exterior of the legendary Harry's New York Bar in Paris.
While many Harry's cards feature various artist illustrations, this 1920s version captures the raw energy of the bar during its most famous decade. The photo shows a dapper crowd of patrons gathered under the iconic "New-York Bar" signage at 5 rue Daunou. This was the era of the "International Bar Flies" (IBF) and the birthplace of the Sidecar, the Bloody Mary and the French 75.This is an investment-grade piece of ephemera for any serious collector of Parisiana, Prohibition-era bar history, or the "Lost Generation."
Will be shipped with extreme care in a protective sleeve and a rigid top-loader/stay-flat mailer. Insurance included.
Pleaseview the photos closely and ask if you have any questions - I will reply same day.
