MARGUERITE BRESIL : FRENCH STAGE & FILM ACTRESS : BY PAUL BOYER : RPPC 1903 For Sale

This uncommon vintage real photo postcard features French theatre and film actress, Marguerite Bresil (1880-1961). She made her stage debut in Paris in "Petit Chagrin" (1899). She appeared at all the major Parisian theatres as well as in early silent films. Miss Bresil's photograph was taken by the esteemed Paul Boyer studio (Paris). She is beautifully dressed in this photo; presumably wearing a stage costume. The card was published by SIP (No.1182). The card has an undivided back indicating that it was published circa 1903. This vintage postcard portrait is in very good condition (see scans). There is minor corner wear present. This Bresil postcard is uncommon and provides an excellent view of the beauty of this French performer. See Scans.
