Description Joichi Hoshi (Printmaker) – \"Sunoria\" – Decorative Plate – Authenticity Guaranteed
This decorative plate was created in 1962. While living in Koenji, the artist frequently traveled to Tokamachi Gosei Co., Ltd. in Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture. The process involved loading synthetic resin powder into a molding machine, applying a multi-colored design, and using a 100-ton press at temperatures between 150°C and 190°C. The finished pieces were originally exhibited and sold at Wako in Ginza. The plate measures 12.6 inches in diameter.
Very few of these remain today, making them extremely rare collector\'s items. The design incorporates gold leaf.
A plate stand is not included.
