ALTERATION : When this came to us, there were two decorative 'wings' on either side of the bottom of the main upper vessel. One of them had been snapped off and the pieces were missing. An attempt to mold, recreate and install replacement wings based on whatever was left, failed.The vase is just too nice to leave in a state of disrepair and absolutely too nice to discard.As the lead artist in a working artists studio (Gargoylery Studio), I used fine diamond tools to reduce the bases of both wings on both sides, match the colors extremely closely and match the surface gloss. If no mentions were made of an alteration, you would not know a change had been made!UPDATE :I was able to reach Jenny Lou (a very nice lady) through her studio's facebook account. She has confirmed it is one of hers and is okay with the change.
