Celebrate the steam era with this Illinois Central railroad poster from Kickapoo Valley Railroad Posters.
The artwork depicts locomotive No. 2500 pulling red freight cars through Weathered black steel, a sweeping smoke plume, country barns,
Burgundy-and-gold lettering, the Illinois Central diamond herald, and an aged-paper border complete the vintage railroad advertising style. The lower banner identifies the locomotive as a “4-8-2 Mountain Type” and includes the Illinois Central–Paducah Shops caption.
