Tea or Coffee Pot from the famous New York Hotel, The Vanderbilt Hotel . It opened in 1912 and closed in 1966. This piece was made approximately 1946.
This piece has dings and marks on it from heavy use in the hotel. You can see it in the photos. The condition, however, is still nice for a piece this old used heavily in a hotel.
It was made by the International Silver Company , Silver Soldered. It is very heavy and well-made.
It is 6 1/2 inches tall from the very top to the bottom. It is 7 inches from the far end of the handle to the end of the spout.
