Though I cannot confirm exact which Hotel Mason this came from, in 1920 there was a Mason Hotel in the following cities: Jacksonville, Florida; Atlantic City, New Jersey; Tacoma, Washington; Jacksonville, Florida; Landcaster, Kentucky, and Claremore, Oklahoma.
This teapot was made by the Gorham Silver Co., is silver soldered, has the catalog number of 011359, is marked \"8 oz\", has the 1920 datemark (an arrow) and clearly marked on the bottom \"HOTEL MASON\".
Heavyweight type steamship, restaurant, and railroad silver. Used in connection with the Mason Hotel china and glassware for actual table and private room service.
