Desert Finds-Silver, Gold & Copper Ore.
Since my boy was killed I walk certain deserts with an entrenching tool and a hammer searching for mine tailings from the WWI & WWII eras. Back then they mostly kept solid gold and silver finds. They piled what seemed to need a lot of processing in piles called tailings. Mines were closed during the wars. And some folk, for various reasons, never came back. When I find the tailing piles I'm looking for, I weather the sun and heat and start digging and hammering. I keep what excites me and leave the rest. Circumstances have caused me to sell off some of it.
This little thing weighs near to 7 ounces and will ship in a 6"x6"x6" box.Anyone who collects ore to view its gold, copper and silver will love this piece.
(I remember this piece. It was a beautiful pure silver look; until I washed it in a creek I frequent out there. The water runs across sulfur somewhere which causes the water to become sulfur-hydroxide which attacks sulfides and taints/tarnishes the look of silver to what you see in the pictures. Still very beautiful; in my opinion. My body perks up when I drink it. Some other folk; not so much. FYI is all.)
