Here we have a wonderful Brochantite cluster from the famous Milpillas Mine in Mapimi, Sonora, Mexico. It has excellent luster and incredible dark green color. The Milpillas Mine is world renowned for producing some very fine quality copper minerals. In the oxidized sections of the mine spectacular pockets were encountered and many fantastic specimens were recovered. The mine is projected to be completely mined out and done by 2027. The carbonate ores that produced pockets have been mined out and they are down in the sulphides now. 39x22mm
