Description : Antique Waterbury mechanical mantel clock featuring a shaped wood case with decorative contrasting inlay, an arched top, molded base and metal feet. The white dial has black Arabic numerals, ornate black hands and an exposed escapement, surrounded by a brass-tone bezel and glass front. The movement is marked Waterbury. A hinged rear door provides access to the brass movement, pendulum and coiled strike gong. Measures approximately 13 inches high, 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Exact model and production date have not been confirmed. The clock starts and runs for a short time before stopping. It needs cleaning and servicing, and additional repairs may be required. Offered for restoration rather than as a fully functioning timepiece. Item pictured is the item you will receive.
Condition Report :The case presents attractively with visible wood grain and decorative inlay.
