Antique Hammacher Schlemmer & Co. Tool Outfit No. 52, made in New York circa 1905–1915. This rare early 20th-century portable woodworking chest was sold by Hammacher Schlemmer, one of America’s oldest hardware and tool suppliers (est. 1848).
This example is approximately 85% complete and original, retaining its original brass Hammacher Schlemmer nameplate, several of the original tools, and a partial original company catalog (No. 518 “Tool Outfits & Benches”) showing this exact model and tool list.
