Antique 1900\'s Boston Police Dept. Wool Cold Weather Cape Jacket OBSOLETE Vtg For Sale

Up for sale is an original antique/vintage obsolete Boston Police Department cold weather wood cape jacket dating from the late 1800\'s to early 1900\'s. The cape is made of thick dark blue wool. It has brass buttons made by Scovill. One of the buttons has been replaced with an anchor button. Has the remains of an old tag as seen in the photos. Overall condition is nice for its age and has some wear. There are some surface moth bites as seen in the photos. There are some moth holes. No dried out spots, no tears and the color is nice. No repairs and the wool is no brittle.Has the original liner. Measures 45\" from the back of the collar to the bottom of the cape. Weight is just over 6 pounds unpacked. I am not able to find another example for sale. Being sold as you see it and as found. Rare item and is a must for any collector. Glare spots are from the lights reflections and NOT on the actual surface.
