It is a handcarved alabaster bust of Jesus mounted on an glossy black paintedwood slab, made in Italy.
The sculpturemeasures 5 1/2” high, on the rectangular base which is 5 3/4”across, 2 3/4” wide and about 1/2” thick there are four felt security tabs on the under side, which also has a label giving theinformation on the piece.
Graded in Veryfine condition, no chips, scratches or other imperfections, only onceowned by a community of nuns in Canada, a beautiful piece ofreligious statuary.
