Antique Chunky White Ironstone Scallop Edge Fluted Bowl - 9.5” diameter x 3.25" tall.
Marked on the bottom: Ironstone China / J & G Meakin. This mark is around 1890 - just in the transition between the lion couchant and rampant - but without ENGLAND which was used in 1891.
This is a thick and chunky bowl! There is staining and crazing, but no chips, cracks, or hairlines! Perfect size for a fruit bowl. Nice!
