Antique Chunky White Ironstone Scalloped Rim Fluted Bowl - 6 5/8” diameter x 2 1/2" tall.
Marked on the bottom: Warranted / Ironstone China with a monogramed O & B between a lion and unicorn. The Ott & Brewer Company used the British Lion and Unicorn mark featuring the initials O & B primarily between 1871 and 1893.
This is a thick and chunky bowl! There is lovely staining and crazing. There is on small nick on the rim, but no cracks or hairlines. It has a nice, embossed pattern with fluting on the bottom and then a section that's mainly smooth with a slight flare up to the scalloped border - it reminds me of a flower. Nice!
