This ornate vanity box features a highly detailed, raised relief pattern of roses, buds, and flowing asymmetrical organic vines across the hinged lid and bowed body. It stands gracefully on four delicate, curved cabriole feet.The exterior boasts its original warm gold-bronze finish with a wonderful, authentic aged patina. The interior is lined with a rich, vibrant red velvet that remains in remarkably clean, well-preserved condition. The bottom features a classic diamond-crosshatch mold pattern with no manufacturer stamps or marks, which is highly typical for foundry runs of this era.Condition: Excellent antique condition.
