1953-1954 Zippo Regular Chrome Windproof Lighter D X Insert Worn Emblem Vintage For Sale

Vintage 1953-1954 regular Zippo chrome case supplied with the photographed Zippo insert marked D X. The front has a faint worn circular/crest-like remnant; the reverse has an orange warning label over a larger rectangular residue patch. The case shows scratches, dark seam wear, spotting and finish rub. The insert has scratches, discoloration and darkened wick-area material. Includes the case and insert shown; the insert and label are not represented as original to the case date. Ignition has not been verified, and fuel, residual fuel and vapor status are not established.
