1953-1954 regular-size Zippo windproof lighter personalized To Dad / "Mi Amigo" / Stormy. The engraved chrome case has extensive plating loss with brown/gold-tone areas, including on the lid edges, front and reverse, plus scratches and small nicks. The removable insert is present and shows staining and a darkened wick/chimney. The base bears ZIPPO, Bradford, PA, U.S.A., PAT. 2517191 and PAT. PEND. This heavily worn personalized example is suited to a collector who values its inscription and visible character; cosmetic restoration would be a separate project.
