Vintage 1943 Warren Old Faithful Jersey Pattern Axe, manufactured by Warren Axe & Tool Co. in the USA. Features the distinctive wide, flared 5 3/4” cutting edge and clearly visible OLD FAITHFUL WARREN AXE and W43 stampings.
This substantial Jersey pattern axe has a beautifully aged wooden handle with remnants of its original-looking reddish-brown finish. The steel head has a great vintage appearance with a broad cutting edge and well-defined profile.
The axe head is tight on the handle with no movement. However, the handle was not fitted far enough through the head, leaving approximately a 1” gap at the top of the eye. This is an attractive collectible and display piece. Rehandling is recommended before attempting to use it.
A great addition to a vintage axe collection, especially for collectors of Warren axes, Jersey patterns, and American-made logging tools.

CONDITION
Vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, discoloration, and patina consistent with age and previous use. The head retains its distinctive shape with clearly visible manufacturer and date stampings. The wooden handle shows considerable finish wear and age-related marks.
The head is tight, but the handle has an approximately 1” gap at the top of the eye due to its fitment. Recommended for display or collecting unless properly rehandled for use.
