Kwantung Army Commemorative Photo Album of the Manchurian Incident (1931-32), Published 1933
Contents: One large album, about 31 x 24 cm, bound in green velvet, issued in Showa 8 (1933) by the Army Ministry\'s Soldiers\' Relief Department and printed by Taisho Shashin Kogeisho. Marked not for sale. It opens with a portrait frontispiece and color-printed pages, followed by printed photo pages and 28 original photographs taken in the field, pasted in. It covers the 2nd, 8th, 10th, 14th, 19th and 20th Divisions, the Independent Garrison Units and the 1st Cavalry Brigade.
Condition: The slipcase is missing. Age wear, toning and rubbing to the velvet, as shown.
