I, the undersigned, hereby agree to pay to Mr.
Lester W. Hobaugh two years after above date
the amount of $200 (two hundred dollars)
in return for a loan of $100 (one hundred
dollars) made on above date. The money will
serve as means to support financially a comic
strip by the name of "sleepy" which will run
in newspapers in the United States of America.
The one making the loan (Mr. Hobaugh) is
absolutely under no obligation
