1906 Antique Huntley Palmers UK Terrestrial Geographic Globe Biscuit Tin Jar Box For Sale

Hello dear customers,

Up for sale is an iconic antique Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin dating to circa 1906. This charming and highly collectible lithographed tin is beautifully made in the form of a terrestrial globe, decorated with a colourful world map reflecting the geography of the early 20th century.

The hinged lid opens smoothly and is embossed on the inside with the original maker's inscription:

"Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London."

The globe remains in very good antique condition, displaying only age-related wear to the lithographed decoration, consistent with its age. Two of the small tin feet show minor deformation , as illustrated in the photographs. Overall, it presents beautifully and is an increasingly scarce example of early Huntley & Palmers advertising and packaging design.

Found at an estate sale in Paris.
