Beautiful vintage Frank Buster Celebrated Cutlery FIGHT’N ROOSTER pocket knife in the classic Congress pattern, featuring four blades and striking black, grey, and silver mottled swirl celluloid handles. Measuring approximately 3.5” closed, this handsome example has a slim profile that offers convenient pocket carry while showcasing the timeless appeal of traditional American pocketknife design.The four-blade configuration provides excellent utility, including two sheepfoot blades with long matchstrike pulls, a shorter coping blade, and a pen blade. The main blade bears the classic FIGHT’N ROOSTER marking, while the desirable mustache shield adds an attractive finishing touch.Condition: This knife presents exceptionally well for its age, with light scuffs and scratches consistent with decades of storage and light handling, along with areas of natural patina throughout. The backsprings also exhibit some patina. The bolsters and shield remain in near-pristine condition, showing very little evidence of wear or age. All four blades retain their original edges. There is some blade rub present as is common in this pattern with its tight tolerances, but has no effect on performance. The main blade exhibits slight side-to-side movement, while the remaining three blades are rock solid. The action and snap are notably strong and above average for a knife of this type.According to the previous owner’s account, this knife has never been used or carried.An attractive example of the classic FIGHT’N ROOSTER Congress pattern, combining distinctive vintage celluloid, desirable traditional features, and excellent overall presentation.
