View Larger Image   Disston Hand-Saw D-8 Crosscut Saw 1930's 9 TPI   Description: This is a nice clean 9 TPI skew back cross cut saw marked with the "DISSTON *PHILA*" logo on the handle medallion, and also has a partially visiable etch on the 26" blade. The handle is solid, a dark reddish brown with some black stained in a few area, a some small outer edge dings on it, some other minor dings and scratches, otherwise solid, no cracks or chipped off areas. The 26" long blade is about 98% straight, not perfect, but close, clean no rust, some minor pitting on about 70% of the total steel blade area, no missing teeth, sharp and ready to use. The pitting noted should not effect use, as the blade is smooth and clean. This is one of several saws that we have for sale, of which are straight, sharpened and ready to cut, this one included, extremely sharp.
