View Larger Image   Union Caliper Triple Jointed Inside/Outside   Description: This is a rarely seen antique triple jointed caliper, or a caliper with two extra mid-leg joints. It is marked "UNION SPRING & MFG. CO. PITTSBURGH PA" on one leg. Although this caliper appears to be mainly for inside measuremnts, it is designed to be used for inside or outside measurements because of the fexibility of the additional joints. The condition is very good working order, very snug joints, very little tip wear, some minor dings and scratches noted, no rust, no pitting, not bent or damaged. With the legs in the straight extended position it measure 6.2" long overall. We have never seen one of these by this maker before! This is a nice example of a unique tool!
