View Larger Image   Drill Points for Yankee No. 75 Screwdriver Group of 10   Description: This is a nice group of 10 different tips or points we selected that are most suitable for the North Brothers Yankee No. 75 spiral ratchet push brace. Unlike a swing arm brace, the No. 75 has less torque, so larger auger bits tend to get stuck as they remove too much stock in each revolution. The No. 75 is best used for light assembly work, nut or machine screw driving (into pre-threaded holes), driving smaller wood screw into pre-drilled holes, reaming, deburring, counter sinking, chamflering work. So, we found that the best drills to use are the old fashioned spoon type auger bits of which we supply 4 in this group, size range from 1/8" to 7/32" diameter, and one 7/32" spiral drill also. Also included is 3 different sizes of slot screwdriver bits, one tapered reamer (.25" to .42" diameter), one countersink reamer (5/8" max diameter). Also included as a bonus is an antique counter-bore bit (.44" diameter), for a total of 11 bits. The counter-bore bit has no centering tip, so the countersink bit must be used first to align the counter-bore bit on center of the hole. All bits have good tapered end shanks to fit the No. 75 chuck, all are in good to very good condition, no rust, not damaged, used, clean. Some of the bits are marked by the maker, Wells Brothers 3/8" tapered reamer, Deuse Co. countersink, Stanley and Handyman slot tips, H. Boker and Standard Tool Co. drill bit, the rest are not marked. As we mentioned earlier, all these have been test in one of our No. 75 push braces, on light duty work applications, the drills are for soft materials, best in dry hardwood.
